The award-winning FlexMat Plus offers a balance of thickness, comfort, and weight that is unmatched by other closed cell foam sleeping pads. Whether used on its own or in tandem with another pad to add protection and warmth, the pad is a lightweight, durable, and budget-friendly option for backpacking or alpine climbing.
The pad is constructed of molded closed-cell IXPE foam. The egg carton-like form creates a 1.5" thick supportive sleeping base. The pad's 2.2 R-value makes it suitable as a 3-season stand-alone while its lightweight, durable design also makes the pad a great protective barrier beneath inflatable or self-inflating pads and this really shines in winter or colder weather.
The Exped FlexMat Plus closed cell foam sleeping pad is available in Xsmall (51" x 20.5" x 1.5"), Medium (72" x 20.5" x 1.5"), and Long/Wide (77.6" x 25.6" x 1.5") size options.
