An innovative, environmentally-progressive redux of an iconic Fjallraven pack, the Tree-Kanken's main fabric and lining are made from a 100% plant-based material. It holds up to years of wear and tear while maintaining its stylish good looks from beginning to end and is equally at home on city streets or on the trail.
Fjallraven has been an industry leader in seeking alternatives to fossil-based materials and finding sustainable practices. The Pine Weave fabric found on the Tree-Kanken comes from traceable, certified spruce and pine trees in northern Sweden. The cellulosic fabric is coated with a combination of polyurethane and wax to enhance its durability and give the pack its distinctive patina.
The pack's woven harness is constructed from a single long section of woven strap that is also integrated into the pack's signature top handle. The spacious main compartment can safely carry gear, clothes, or school binders, and work supplies. A zippered front pocket and two side pockets offer additional places to stow small items. Daisy chain attachment points allow you to lash items to the pack's exterior.
