The shoe's innovative Matryx upper is a lightweight weave that incorporates Kevlar to deliver excellent abrasion-resistance and durability without adding excess weight or bulk. This also allows the shoe to hug your foot closely without feeling restrictive. A burly rubber toe cap bolsters protection and an ankle-and-heel strap offers lateral support and increases overall stability.
The well-cushioned midsole has a plush EVA top layer and a second layer of durable responsive foam. This combination maintains its structure and provides effective energy return even after repeated wear. An Active Foot Frame enables your foot to settle into rather than sitting on top of that midsole providing support and stability without excessive weight or over-engineered structure. A rockered geometry encourages an efficient rolling stride.
The shoe's durable Vibram MegaGrip outsole employs 5mm multi-directional lugs to promote excellent traction on all types of terrain.
