The versatile Kelty Redwing 36 day pack offers over 2100 cubic inches of storage, carries weight comfortably, and has excellent organizational and access features. The versatile pack is equally at home hiking on the trail, accompanying you to work, or serving as a streamlined travel pack.
The pack’s suspension system is comprised of a lightweight perimeter frame and a ventilated backpanel. Together, these features effectively distribute and balance the weight of heavy backpacking loads while promoting airflow to keep you cool and comfortable. The padded and adjustable shoulder straps and hipbelt further aid in stabilization and fit. Fine tuning can be made with load-lifter straps and an elastic sternum strap.
The main compartment of the pack has panel-loading access. You can reach the interior via a large U-shaped zipper that provides wide-open access for convenient loading and unloading. Other features include zippered side pockets with pass-through access behind them, a stash pocket, side compression straps, ice axe/trekking pole loops, a front bungee attachment system, and side water bottle pockets. A lined interior sleeve and built-in tube exit point make the pack hydration compatible (hydration system not included).
