The poles employ sturdy aluminum alloy upper sections and lightweight carbon fiber lower shafts. Ergonomic, extended-length foam grips include integrated woven straps that help to reduce stress on your wrists. They also house a push-button mechanism that releases the internal lock and provides the poles with a 25 cm adjustability range. This is especially helpful in backcountry settings where elevation is constantly changing and switchbacks can call for frequent height adjustments to one or both of the poles.
