- Strong, stable construction with a compact design: Each pole has five sections of durable aluminum connected by a coated inner cord. After each shaft section is aligned, a push button lock tensions and locks the poles securely in place. When you are ready to collapse them, push in the lock button to disengage the lock and fold up your poles. This innovative design reduces packed size to just 15 inches.
- Versatile adjustability for confident travels in varied terrain: When the poles are locked into position, the Speed Lock Plus mechanisms make it easy to set them at your preferred length with a lever-style adjustment and height markings. Once closed, the locks keep the poles secure so you can focus on the trail ahead.
- Ergonomic grips for support and comfort: The poles' ergonomic EVOCON grips fit comfortably in your hands and have a rounded top for palming the poles when needed. A short extension below the main grip makes it easy to grasp lower on the shafts, providing better control when you encounter a steep slope or side hill traverse. A lightweight adjustable strap reduces stress on your wrists and provides additional security and comfort.
- Reliable traction that's built for tough trails: Carbide flex tips provide great traction and can deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. So if your pole gets caught between rocks or tree roots, there's a lower risk of pole breakage. Low profile trekking baskets are installed on the poles and can be swapped with other interchangeable baskets (sold separately).
- Built in longevity with patented FX technology: LEKI's commitment to service and repair led to the creation of their FX technology, which allows you to easily replace the two lowest sections within minutes. If one of those sections breaks or becomes damaged, a replacement section can be obtained without needing to buy a complete set of new poles.
