The Marmot Hype Down Hoody is a lightweight wind- and water-resistant layer with warm and compressible down insulation and pockets for your hands and gear. Stuff this packable down hoody into its own pocket and keep it in your pack for cold weather.

The Pertex Quantum shell fabric provides you with water- and wind-resistant protection while allowing the 800-fill down insulation to fully loft and keep you warm. The attached hood has a drawcord adjustment and elastic binding to seal out moisture and trap warmth inside. The double slider front zipper gives you venting options or flexibility when using a harness.

Zippered pockets provide a warm place for your hands or secure storage for valuables. An internal mesh pocket gives you a protected place to stash gear. The elastic bound hem can be tightened with a cord that exits into one of the hand pockets and elastic bound cuffs further help to seal out the chill. When the weather improves you can stow this hoody into its own pocket and easily stow it in your pack for later.

Available in your choice of size and color the Marmot Hype Down Hoody has an athletic fit that can accommodate light to heavy baselayers while still allowing for a hard shell over the top if needed.
