A unique, aerobic-focused option for trail runners, climbers, and fastpackers, the Marmot Men's Alt HB Hoody employs a thermo-regulating lining and mobility-enhancing design features to deliver lightweight warmth with maximum breathability at a weight of just 11 ounces!
The jacket's recycled nylon ripstop stretch construction provides a close, comfortable fit that keeps weight to a minimum while allowing for uninhibited movement and delivering excellent breathability. Though the fabric is not truly waterproof, a PFC-free DWR treatment does add a touch of weather-resistance. Gusseted underarms and articulated elbows further promote range of motion. The jacket's Octa-yarn lining moves heat and moisture away from the body so you're neither too hot nor too cold. An elastic-bound hood extends coverage and enhances warmth.
Other features include a full-length front zipper, an adjustable drawcord hem, elastic cuffs with integrated thumbholes for added warmth and coverage, and zippered hand pockets.
Available in your choice of size and color options, the Marmot Men's Alt HB Hoody has an athletic fit that allows you to wear a hardshell over top but is best worn only over top of baselayers or low-profile midlayers.
