The MSR Thru-Hiker 70 Wing is a featherweight, waterproof ‘roof’ that can be paired with a compatible Mesh House tent (sold separately) to achieve legendary MSR protection.
This 70 square-foot canopy provides wind, sun and rain protection for up to 3 people. It’s constructed with 20 denier ripstop nylon coated with a long-wearing DWR treatment to repel water.
Weighing less than a pound, the Thru-Hiker 70 Wing was designed with ultralighters, long-distance hikers and other ounce-counters in mind.
NOTE: This shelter does not include poles. To maintain its ultralight nature, its supported by trekking poles, MSR’s available accessory poles, or even trees.
The Thru-Hiker 70 Wing is compatible with the MSR Thru-Hiker Mesh House 1, 2 or 3 (all sold separately).
