The Oboz Men's Bangtail Mid Insulated Waterproof has what you need to stay warm and dry when the trail gets challenging. Equipped with sustainable PrimaLoft BIO insulation, B-DRY waterproof technology and winter Vibram soles, these boots provide confident winter performance.
The boot's upper uses water repellent nubuck leather paired with elastic panels for a comfortable fit right out of the box that still offers long-term durability. Oboz's B-DRY membrane provides waterproof protection that breathes and wicks away sweat to keep feet dry and comfortable. Lightweight warmth is provided by Primaloft BIO, a 100% recycled synthetic insulation that has biodegradable properties. This innovative material looks to lessen the impact of microfibers that shed naturally over the course of a product's life or when the item is discarded by returning to materials found in nature.
Underfoot, the boot uses a rubberized EVA midsole that adapts to varying terrain. The dual-density construction creates lightweight cushioning that allows for an energy-efficient stride but has a softer heel strike landing zone to help reduce fatigue. The high-performance insole is a cut above what you'll find in most hiking boots. Molded to match the specific shape and construction of the boot, this moisture wicking insole has cushioned forefoot and heel pods, a deep heel cup, and a supportive arch to add to your overall comfort. It also has a heat-reflecting Mylar layer to help retain warmth. The outsole tread is optimized for cold-weather performance with Vibram Arctic Grip rubber and lugs designed to improve traction and shed snow or mud.
