Built with climbers, skiers, mountaineers and hikers in mind, the helmet-compatible Outdoor Research ActiveIce Hijab provides no-slip coverage, UPF 50+ sun protection, and active cooling fabric for all-day comfort outdoors.
The hijab has a fitted stretchy knit around the face for comfort. The hidden shock cord in the is adjustable to cinch the hijab down for high exertion activity and keeps hair off the neck. The main fabric is a bluesign-approved recycled polyester and spandex blend that utilizes ActiveIce technology to lower skin temperatures through endothermic cooling when wicking moisture. The hijab also provides UPF 50+ sun protection to ward off harmful UV rays.
