The fully- featured Outdoor Research Alpine AscentShell Bivy provides a snug, secure sleeping space while utilizing premium waterproof/breathable materials to fend off challenging weather.
The bivy has a highly-durable 3-layer construction that utilizes innovative Pertex Shield Air Diamond Fuse nylon fabrics to ensure waterproof protection while still allowing breathability to keep you comfortable throughout the night. The floor is bolstered for added durability while TPU lamination and taped seams increase weather protection.
The bivy is large enough to accommodate most sleeping bags and standard-sized sleeping pads. A single pole system and increased volume at the head and feet creates welcome internal space. A large side opening offers broader access than many bivvies and allows for the use of a mesh screen when conditions allow you to un-batten the hatches.
