Description

An ultra-lightweight, performance-oriented option for thru-hiking or trail running, close-fitting Outdoor Research Ferrosi Hybrid gaiters use a combination of fabrics to keep out debris, deliver temperature regulation, and provide water-resistance, abrasion-resistance, and breathability.

The center front of the gaiters is a highly breathable recycled polyester and elastane knit jersey. The bluesign-approved 90D blend of nylon and spandex at the rear ankles is water-resistant, wind-resistant, and abrasion-resistant. This combination of fabrics allows the gaiters to dry quickly, achieves a UPF 50+ sun rating, and offers movement-mirroring stretch. ActiveIce technology actually lowers skin temperature by utilizing endothermic cooling when wicking moisture.

The gaiters' low-profile design best pairs with trail shoes and running shoes. To ensure a proper fit, the gaiters have front shoelace hooks, elastic top hems, and replaceable Hypalon instep straps.
