A lightweight, compact alternative to a tent, the best-selling, high-performance Outdoor Research Helium Bivy delivers waterproof/breathable performance for fast-and-light backpacking or alpine adventures.
Despite its lightweight design. The bivy still provide durable, reliable protection thanks to its Pertex Shield Diamond Fuse 2.5-layer ripstop nylon construction. A 40D TPU-laminated nylon floor is surprisingly rugged and full seam taping bolsters waterproof protection.
The bivy is large enough to accommodate most sleeping bags and standard-sized sleeping pads. A single pole system and increased volume at feet creates welcome internal space. A clamshell opening offers convenient access and allows for the use of the integrated internal mesh screen when weather cooperates.
The Outdoor Research Helium Bivy is available in your choice of color options. A stuff sack is included.
