The exterior of the jacket is a waterproof, windproof, and breathable Ventia 2L fabric with mechanical stretch, and VerticalX ECO polyester insulation adds lightweight warmth without excess bulk or weight. The body of the jacket contains 80g insulation for core warmth while the sleeves and hood utilize 60g insulation for streamlined use. The temperature-regulating insulation does a great job of keeping you warm but dumping excess heat to ensure all day comfort. It also retains its ability to insulate even if it gets damp or wet. The hood is helmet-compatible but also has a wire brim and excellent adjustability so you can also wear it comfortably without a helmet.

Other features include a full-length double-separating front zipper, pit zips for venting when things heat up, adjustable cuffs with an internal knit gaiter, a drawcord-adjustable hem, an internal powder skirt, a forearm pocket with a key clip for your ski pass, an insulated chest pocket, an interior zippered chest pocket with a media port, a large internal mesh stash pocket, and zippered hand pockets.
