The gloves have a bluesign approved 2L polyester exterior that's bolstered by a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX insert for weather protection. There's plenty of synthetic insulation to keep your hands warm without sacrificing dexterity, and a polyurethane diamond grip palm ensures you won't lose your grip on your poles or tools. There's also a soft tricot lining for next-to-skin comfort. The gloves have touchscreen compatibility so you can use smartphones and other devices without taking them off. A zippered heat pack pocket on the back of the hand can be used for extra warmth when you need it.

Overall, the fit has additional space in the knuckles and lower fingers. If you're used to gloves restricting your movement and affecting the circulation in your hands, these will provide plenty of room for you to move and keep the blood flowing--so your fingers stay warm. You can adjust the fit with a webbing wrist cinch, and the over-the-cuff gauntlets have an easy-to-use pull cinch.
