Description
- Ultra-lightweight construction saves weight and minimizes bulk: The VerticalX Superstrand synthetic insulation has a similar weight and loft as 700-800 fill down insulation and the 12D nylon ripstop shell fabric offers water-resistance (note: not fully waterproof) and wind-resistance.
- Low-profile fit enhancements maximize adaptability: An elastic-bound hem and elastic-bound cuffs ensure comfort while maintaining an overall layering-friendly fit.
- Warm pockets with built-in versatility: Zippered insulated pockets provide a warm place for your hands as well as secure storage and the left hand pocket doubles as a stuff sack when you aren't wearing the jacket and want to stow it in your pack.
How does it fit?
The standard fit of the Women's Superstrand LT Jacket Plus allows you to comfortably wear t-shirts, baselayers, and low-profile midlayers beneath it. Outdoor Research Plus sizes use a different hip-to-waist ratio with a grading that accounts for differences between proportions and body shapes rather than just making larger versions of their apparel pieces to better ensure a proper fit.
