The Salomon S/Lab Phantasm CF shoe is a trail-inspired road running shoe. Its sleek, highly-breathable, reverse-camber design and an integrated energy-returning composite-fiber plate deliver quick transitioning performance.

Even dedicated, die-hard trail runners end up having to log road miles or even put a little time on the treadmill and the Salomon S/Lab Phantasm CF shoe is made for these occasions. Its sleek, highly-breathable, reverse-camber design and an integrated energy-returning composite-fiber plate deliver quick transitioning performance.
The seamless Matryx mesh upper provides a close-hugging fit and maximizes breathability. A soft, featherlight collar enhances comfort and further ensures a performance fit.
A curved midsole borrows from Salomon's ski heritage and encourages quick turnover and promotes an efficient stride. Lightweight, responsive Energy Surge foam uses a combination of EVA and Olefin to deliver cushioning and energy return. A molded EVA sockliner further enhances fit and comfort.
The shoe's Road Contagrip outsole provides confident traction on sidewalks, roads, and other improved surfaces in wet or dry conditions. It is not recommended for trail running.
With a 32mm heel and a 26mm forefoot, the shoe has a moderate 9mm drop. It weighs in at roughly 16 ounces per pair (varies by size).
