The shoe's water-resistant welded synthetic provides a comfortable fit and strategic overlays improve durability and increase stability. A waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX bootie keeps feet dry and comfortable. Extended padding above the protective rubber heel cup delivers extra comfort and teams with a gusseted tongue to help keep dust and debris from sneaking inside. Fit is assured with the lightweight QuickLace system, and a streamlined pocket in the tongue allows you tuck away any excess lacing. A rubber toe cap protects against rocks and roots.
Under foot, Salomon's lightweight but supportive ADV-C Chassis cradles your heel, protects your ankle from over articulating, and provides extra stability while still allowing forefoot flexibility for fluid maneuverability. An EnergyCell foam midsole maximizes comfort and together with the OrthoLite insole delivers cushioning and optimal fit.
