The two-person Sierra Designs Meteor Lite 2 tent has an excellent space-to-weight ratio and provides reliable, lightweight durability and performance for 3-season backpacking or camping.

Measuring 84" x 51", the tent provides 29.8 square feet of interior space and has an overhead peak height of 41". Vestibules in front of the dual large D-shaped doors grant an additional 18 square feet (9 square feet per vestibule) of exterior storage space for wet or muddy shoes and gear.

Hubbed DAC Featherlight aluminum poles create sturdy structure and color-coded clip construction make erecting the tent simple. The freestanding design allows you to pitch the tent and then move it around your campsite to find the optimum position, eliminating an uncomfortable night's sleep over an exposed root or rock. Pre-bent architecture increases the steepness of the exterior walls, resulting in more usable space inside the tent and a more "livable" feel when weather keeps you inside. Stakes are included to ensure a secure, taut pitch.

Extensive mesh on the body of the tents promotes airflow and helps to prevent condensation build-up on the interior of the tent. The 20D nylon ripstop rainfly and 30D nylon ripstop floor keep the interior of the tent dry and fully taped seams bolster weather protection. A stuff sack is included.
