Built for active cold weather pursuits the Sierra Designs Women's Borrego Hybrid Jacket uses hybrid construction to provide excellent range of motion with bolstered warmth in the torso. Its lightweight compressible design allows it to stash away in your pack until you need it.
The body of the jacket is constructed of 100% recycled polyester taffeta while the sleeves sides and hood are constructed of 4-way stretch woven softshell nylon. The jacket is certainly not waterproof but a durable water-repellent treatment does help it fend off light precipitation. Recycled Primaloft Eco Silver synthetic insulation in the body adds all-condition warmth with very little bulk or excess weight. The close-fitting hood enhances warmth and comfort.
Other features include a full-length front zipper elastic cuffs seamless shoulders for better comfort when carrying a pack two interior drop pockets and two zippered hand pockets. When not in use the compressible jacket even stows neatly inside one of the zippered pockets.
