A no-frills option for first-time campers or cost-conscious backpackers, the Therm-a-Rest Trail Scout sleeping pad offers self-inflating comfort and convenience at an affordable price. The streamlined shape reduces weight and bulk.
An expandable foam core provides the self-inflating pad with an R-value of 3.1 and makes the pad incredibly easy to use. Simply unroll the pad and open the one-way WingLock valve. Open-celled foam responds by soaking up air, similar to the way in which a sponge absorbs liquid. Once the pad has had time to inflate, you can adjust firmness by manually adding or releasing air before re-tightening the valve.
The Therm-a-Rest Trail Scout sleeping pad is available in your choice of size options. A stuff sack is included.
