A versatile, lightweight, hydration-equipped vest pack that is suitable for a day of hiking or tackling your first 50K, the Ultimate Direction Trail Vest offers 8 liters of convenient storage and comfortably carries an included 1.5-liter hydration system.
Constructed of lightweight but durable fabrics, the vest weighs just 7.0 ounces (without the reservoir). To ensure a proper fit, the vest is available in two sizes that are based on your chest measurement. The Xsmall/Small best fits 20"-40" chest sizes and the Medium/Large best fits 30-46" chests. Dual sternum straps with sliding adjustability help to fine-tune fit while ensuring a bounce-free carry.
The main rear compartment houses the included 1.5-liter hydration system and has room enough to allow you to carry an even larger reservoir (up to 2 liters) if you have need to carry more water. You can route the drinking hose over either shoulder and secure it to a hose clip on the chest. A large rear mesh pocket is perfect for discarded layers or other items you want to be able to access without digging into the main compartment. Multiple harness pockets allow you to carry your gels, your phone, or water bottles right up front.
