Trail tested and hiker approved, the adidas Outdoor Women's Terrex Free Hiker 2 is engineered as a hiking boot with the soul of a running shoe. Stability, cushioning and comfort meet in a design that's peppy underfoot with plenty of protection for long miles.

Description

  • Durable, protective upper with sock-like collar: Lightweight reclaimed and recycled materials in the mesh upper provide a snug feel without pressure points, so you feel stable and secure in varied terrain. The stretch-knit collar feels great next-to-skin and has two pull tabs for easy step-in.
  • Running-inspired midsole with added cushioning and stability for on-trail confidence: Iconic adidas BOOST foam provides excellent cushioning with subtle but effective energy return, with a cut-out design that follows the natural contours of the heel for greater comfort. The integrated heel clip and torsion bar adds durability and side-to-side stability, and the rockered shape encourages forward motion for fast-and-light backpacking and thru-hiking.
  • Hike with the confidence of all-conditions grip:
Continental rubber on the outsole delivers the same trustworthy grip you demand of high-performance tires. Excellent traction on rocky scree, wet roots, and loose, gravelly trails lets you focus on the path ahead.
