The Altra Running Women's Lone Peak Hiker mid-height boot is equally comfortable pushing hard on the trail or playing it casual in town. It has the lightweight support and nimbleness you've come to expect from the iconic Lone Peak name with understated aesthetics that thrive in all environments.

As with all Altra offerings, the boot has a FootShape toe that allows your big toe to remain in a straight position while allowing your other toes to spread naturally. This broader cut reduces the risk of bunions, hammer toes, and plantar fasciitis. The boot also utilizes a Zero Drop platform (height of the heel and the forefront are the same) that encourages a natural stride rather than elevating the heel or manipulating foot position. This is meant to promote better alignment and a more natural posture while on the move which in turn lessens impact.

The boot's mid-height synthetic upper offers an excellent combination of abrasion-resistance, breathability, and lateral stability. A highly-responsive Altra EGO midsole delivers comfort, reduces fatigue, and provides resiliency with every step.

The boot has a stack height of 25mm and weighs roughly 20 ounces per pair. A highly-durable DuraTread rubber outsole has a tacky surface and a lug pattern that together deliver excellent traction on dirt or rock.
