Built for hikers who demand a balance of weight, comfort, and responsiveness, the Asolo Men's Drifter Pro GV boot has a suede and synthetic upper, a dual-density midsole, and a grippy Vibram outsole. Throw in a protective GORE-TEX lining and the boot is ready made for the trail!

Description

Hybrid upper construction combines breathability, durability, and weather-protection: The mid-cut boot's upper uses both weather-resistant suede and lightweight Cordura to offer lateral stability, long-term durability, and flexibility while breaking in much faster than a full-leather boot. A rubber toe cap bolsters durability and lessens the impact of kicked rocks and roots while a GORE-TEX lining keeps your foot dry and comfortable.
Anatomical design characteristics ensure a proper fit: Every detail of the foot was considered when building the boot's last. This results in a shaped arch to prevent your foot from sliding and shaping that correctly places your heel. While your heel remains securely in place there is space at the forefoot to keep your foot from feeling overly cramped or fatigued during long days on the trail.
Midsole balances cushioning and support: The boot utilizes a dual-density molded EVA midsole. The first layer is denser, ensuring stability and support, while the heel side is softer to enhance comfort and provide cushioning. The anatomically-shaped footbed increases cushioning and support and a PU heel insert adds stability.
Confident traction on rock, hard-packed trails, or softer terrain: The rugged rubber Asolo/Vibram Vega outsole employs an XS Trek compound to deliver grip and taction in every kind of terrain. A sculpted heel improves braking on steep grades, and the tread pattern creates a self-cleaning action to shed dirt and debris.
