An ideal choice for backpacking or technical alpine trekking the Asolo Men's Shiraz GV boot is equipped with highly durable waterproof construction and a shock-absorbing high-traction outsole. These boots are flat-out ready for challenging terrain.

A combination of water-resistant Schoeller synthetic fabrics and suede grant the boot lightweight durability and abrasion-resistance while avoiding the long “break in” period often associated with full-leather boots. This construction also provides the boots with flexible forgiving comfort. A GORE-TEX lining delivers waterproof/breathable performance.

The high cut of the boot provides excellent ankle support while the materials are pliable enough to provide a snug fit. A rubber toe rand helps to defend toes against rocks and roots and also extends the life of the boot.

An Asoflex 00 MR lasting board protects the bottom of your foot from the impact of roots and rocks. A low-density PU insert in the heel teams with the double-density rubber midsole to help cushion your foot and provide anti-shock performance for long days on the trail. The sticky Vibram rubber outsole offers superior grip on even or uneven terrain.

Sold in pairs the Asolo Men's Shiraz GV hiking boot is available in men's full and half sizes.

AMAZING!!

I have been an Asolo fan since 1986. This will be my 4th pair of various models of hiking boots from Asolo, and again they blow my mind. Right out of the box the fit great, cradle and support the foot excellently, and broke in after the first day of wear. I'm amazed at how light they are, and my feet feel great after a long hiking day. If you're looking for a great hiking/backpack long trail boot for all over the mountain. These are it!!

Dislikes

I don't have any dislikes, but one note they are a warm on hot days. This doesn't bother me, but a good fyi.

Incredible boot!

The comfort and fit of this boot is amazing. Rocky trails are a breeze with these soles. I hardly ever feel anything. So far these are the best boots I have ever owned.

A little stiff around the ankles during the break in period.

Great but light on the padding

I have worn these boots quite a bit now. I have had more than 2 hand fulls of incidents where I should have rolled my ankle but these boots kept my ankle in line like no other. The grip is excellent except on wet concrete garage floors, just saying.

Dislikes

The only dislike I have is the padding. I sit more than most so I no longer have tough feet. So I look for shoes and insoles with good padding. These do not fit that bill.
