Designed specifically to accommodate bunions by relieving pressure, the Asolo Women's Greenwood EVO Bunion GV hiking boot offers a unique fit with a wider forefoot and extra volume where you need it the most. Combined with waterproof construction, this capable hiking boot has the support and cushioning to keep you comfortable on the trail.

For this boot, Asolo created a unique last--a solid form that determines the shape and fit of footwear--to help alleviate the pressure and constriction that can be caused by bunions when wearing standard boots. The last's design also incorporates the anatomical shape of a woman's foot for a custom-fit feel. Abrasion- and water-resistant leather is used to construct the upper and is bolstered by a waterproof/breathable GORE-TEX lining to keep your feet dry during storms or in wet conditions. A rubber toe cap protects against kicked rocks or roots.

The boot uses a dual-density midsole to provide stability, support, and shock absorption. Asolo's meticulous design extends to the footbed, which uses a variety of materials and an EVA heel cup to wick moisture and create additional cushioning.

Lugs on the outsole offer traction when braking downhill and stability as you move across varied terrain. Sticky Vibram MegaGrip rubber helps you hike confidently whether the trails are wet or dry.

Sold in pairs the Asolo Women's Greenwood EVO Bunion GV hiking boot is available in women's full and half sizes. To keep the leather on this shoe in good shape and to prevent water absorption in the upper for the life of the shoe we recommend applying a fabric and leather conditioner and waterproofing treatment (both sold separately).
