The Big Agnes Copper Spur HV UL 2 Bikepack tent takes the same impressive interior space-to-weight ratio of its best-selling, award-winning namesake and equips it with features that cater to cyclists on overnight or extended outings. That increased packability and organizational feature set also make the tent a great backpacking option.
Tapered from the head to the foot of the tent, the interior of the Fly Creek HV UL 2 measures 52" at its widest point and stretches a full 88" in length. The 29 square feet of interior space provides adequate room for up to two cyclists or backpackers or can serve as a spacious shelter for one. Integrated vestibules offers 18 total square feet of additional weather-protected external storage space in front of the two side doors. High Volume pole architecture increases the verticality of the sidewalls and the doors so that there is more elbow room and livable space inside the tent. A three-dimensional shelf is ideal for storing gear in the otherwise wasted space above your feet. Internal mesh pockets and integrated media pockets provide options for getting gear up off the floor and out of your way. Ample mesh on the tent body and a large mesh door maximize cross ventilation and provide circulation to fight condensation build-up. Coated with 1200mm waterproof polyurethane, the silicone-treated ripstop nylon floor and rainfly are lightweight and durable. All of the tent's seams are sealed with waterproof, solvent-free polyurethane tape (no PVC or VOCs) to further protect the tent from the elements.
Lightweight, collapsible DAC Featherlite NSL pre-bent poles provide the tent with freestanding structure. The single hub/pole design works in conjunction with the tent body's integrated clips to make setup fast, easy and intuitive. By employing shorter pole sections, the tent packs down to just 12" x 6" to better fit in panniers or saddlebags or lash more conveniently to handlebars or bikeframes.
