An extra-roomy option for camping couples, the Big Agnes Dream Island 15 Degree Doublewide sleeping bag offers room to sprawl while still delivering 3-season worthy warmth.

The bag is insulated with FireLine Max synthetic insulation. This high-performance fill is made from 50% post-consumer recycled polyester and maximizes loft and warmth. Unlike down insulation, it can also continue to keep you warm even if it should become wet. The bag's nylon rip-stop shell fabric has a surface treatment that further helps to repel moisture and protect the insulation. A blended cotton/polyester lining offers excellent next-to-skin comfort.

In a traditional sleeping system, the bag lies on top of a sleeping pad. In this configuration, many people find themselves rolling off the pad at night. Not only that, but the insulation on the bottom of the bag is often compressed by the sleeper's weight and, once compressed, the fill loses most of its insulating properties. The Big Agnes System is different and joins the bag and the pad together. A Flex Pad Sleeve on the bottom of the bag accommodates pads of varying lengths, widths, and thicknesses and ensures that the pad stays beneath you. It also enables the pad to deliver warmth and it allows Big Agnes to save weight and bulk by only lightly insulating the bottom of the bag itself. You'll stay warm and you can roll and move comfortably during the night without ever worrying about slipping off of your pad.

The bag is designed to be used with any two 25" wide Big Agnes sleeping pads (sold separately) or a single 50" doublewide pad with an R-value or suggested temperature range to match the bag's temperature rating. Other branded pads can also be used.

A double wide insulated ergonomic hood, draft tubes located along the length of the dual anti-snag zippers, and a draft collar combine to lock in heat and keep out cold air to enhance warmth and comfort. Built-in "barns" keep pillows (pillows not included) tucked securely beneath sleepers' heads and an integrated Free Range footbox provides ample wiggle room for feet and toes.

The Big Agnes Dream Island 15 Degree Doublewide fits up to 6' 6" and includes a stuff sack and a storage sack.

Great Sleeping Bag

This is great for someone that needs some room or someone that sleeps with a partner. It's plenty roomy, has a soft liner that can easily be taken off for wash, and has slots underneath for a pad... great bag

Dislikes

My only worry is the outer material. While it's super soft, it's very thin and I'm afraid it may rip easily (especially with my dogs around). Only time will tell....

love the space, and the materials feel great. bought this knowing it is a BIG bag AND synthetic, but really wanted to try a double bag before buying two down bags that can be zipped together. bought a XL sea to summit compression sac and it squishes this monster down to a 12-14 inch by 10-12 inch ball, helps with packing on the motorcycle, its big. love the pad sleeve for the big old double pad i bought to go with it. there is plenty of room for me i am 6'1" and 230 and my wife who is 5'3". like that the bottom is like a sheet, saves packing space.

Great pad-attachment improvements

I have the Cabin Creek bag from 2018, and this is very much like that bag. It's bigger (car camping only!), the fabric inside is more like a sheet than a sleeping bag, and the way it attaches to the pads has changed for the better! The previous models had a sleeve, which worked well but required a lot of space to maneuver. The newer bags now work like a fitted sheet, making them a lot easier to install. The pads (we used 2 25-inchers) stay in place well when you toss and turn on them, and are easy to get out as well. This is especially appreciated for such a huge bag. Hooray!
