Big Agnes Fussell UL Quilt

Ideal for hut trips or fast-and-light backpacking, the Big Agnes Fussell UL Quilt offers unrestricted freedom of movement and can be used to create an ultra-lightweight sleep system. Combine the down-insulated quilt with any Big Agnes sleeping pad (sold separately) to make your set up lighter and more comfortable.

Filled with water-resistant 850-fill DownTek insulation, the quilt weighs right around a pound. Down insulation has long been renowned for its compressible properties and efficiency in delivering an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio. The shortcoming of down has been its susceptibility to the effects of moisture, losing much of its performance qualities when wet or damp. DownTek insulation utilizes nano technology and a proprietary application process to provide water-repellency and both anti-microbial and anti-bacterial protection. A nylon ripstop shell with a DWR treatment further protects the insulation from the elements and a polyester taffeta lining helps to wick moisture and enhance comfort.

Unlike many cocoon-like sleeping bags this uniquely-shaped quilt offers freedom of movement and enhanced ventilation on balmy nights. Though it can be used on its own, the quilt is a versatile companion piece when used with a sleeping pad. The integrated snap system creates a simplified mummy bag that can be used for more warmth on colder nights, and the snaps allow you to connect the quilt directly to a sleeping pad with the use of the 10 included 3M snap patches.
