With a simple setup and ultralight materials, the Big Agnes Gold Camp UL 3 Tarp keeps your base weight low when you're looking to go fast and light. There's ample space inside to stand up and sleep up to three people comfortably!

Description

Simple design for reliable ultralight shelter in the backcountry: The tarp has a pyramid design with a square-shaped base so that it's easy to pitch and only requires a single center pole. You can save even more weight by leaving the adjustable pole at home and using the exterior peak loop to suspend the tarp from above!
Dependable weather protection with vents to manage moisture: The ultralight polyester ripstop fabric has a 1500mm waterproof polyurethane coating to keep you dry. The zippered door has a storm flap to protect against leaks and low vent technology to manage airflow, as well as toggles to hold it open on nice days. There's also a mesh-lined vent on the peak.
Modular livability for varied adventures: With space for up to three people, the tarp has plenty of options to make it work for camping or backpacking in any conditions. There are adjustable stake out loops and reflective guy-outs to help you adjust the setup to fit your campsite. Loops on the interior are compatible with the Gold Camp UL 3 Mesh Inner (sold separately), making it into a standard double wall tent! The loops can also be used for other accessories like lights or gear lofts. The Gold Camp UL 3 Footprint (sold separately) adds floor protection when using the tarp by itself or with the mesh insert.

The Gold Camp UL 3 Tarp has a trail weight of 2 pounds, 6 ounces and packs down to 20.5" x 5" in its included stuff sack. The center pole is adjustable and can be set at 66" - 80" in height.
