Big Agnes mtnGLO Tent & Camp Lights add lightweight, functional illumination for your tent or campsite. Three AAA batteries (not included) power a 100"-length strand of LED bulbs that can be positioned to your preference with four integrated plastic clips. The strand can also be powered directly by any USB source. You can choose between Full Light or Flicker modes. Adding an additional touch of fun, a pyramid-shaped case can be hung with the strand inside it and serve as a lantern. The triangular design also allows it to stand freely.

The Big Agnes MTN Glo camp lights bring just the right amount of party vibe for mother nature. I like how I can turn these on to find whatever I’m looking for in my bag, but also act as a homing beacon to help find my way back to the tent after dark. Because they can integrate with a USB, I can use the included battery tray or connect to my battery pack which increases the versatility.

I string the lights along the ceiling of my tent, at night i turn them on and it makes a nice soft glow in the tent without the use of a bright flashlight or lantern, i used them for a three day camping trip and the batteries are still strong, highly recommended

These are really great. Mtn Glo tents were on backorder, so I got a Copper Spur without the lights and bought these accessory lights - perfect solution. They provide soft but ample lighting. I actually prefer this lighting to that of a small lantern hung or headlamp stashed in a pocket - these lights are more ambient. I love that I can hang them where I want - so many gear loops in the tent that there are plenty of options, and the little remote can be stashed in a gear net. One of the best parts: the remote has an extra on/off switch so that you don't drain your batteries if you leave them in.

Dislikes

If only they had a little solar power panel (with the battery option just as back-up.) Still, pretty awesome overall.

Why didn't someone think of this before?

Very nice, soft, diffuse, ambient light in a tent. Really it makes me wonder why no one else thought of it before. Such a simple and effective design. Extremely lightweight.

Dislikes

The three modes are: on, off, and flicker. I don't know why they have the "flicker" function. It seems useless, and perhaps would be better if it were instead a dimmer light.

I haven't had a chance to use them yet. But I do have the same kind of string of lights. So those work well. That is made by BIG AGNES, just like these lights. So I'm sure they will work well.
