The Big Agnes Red Elephant Cagoule is a cozy insulated pullover that's at home downtown or out in the backcountry. Utilizing water-resistant 700-fill DownTek insulation, this versatile jacket has body-mapped baffles and ample pockets to keep you comfortable through the seasons.
The jacket is insulated with ultra-lightweight and water-resistant 700-fill DownTek insulation that delivers warmth without excessive bulk or weight. Unlike traditional down which can wet out and lose its ability to insulate, the jacket's DownTek insulation has been treated to help it stay dry longer, dry faster if it should become wet, and most importantly continue to insulate even if it does become damp. DownTek is also RDS certified, bluesign certified, and manufactured using PFC-free water-repellent chemistry. The insulated hood has a drawcord adjustment for a snug fit when you want to seal in warmth. The jacket's outer shell is made from nylon ripstop, while the lining is polyester. Both the shell and lining have a DWR finish.
Other features include minimalist elastic on the cuffs, drawcord hem adjustment, kangaroo front pocket and zippered chest pocket. The chest pocket doubles as a stuff sack for the jacket.
