Description

Ultralight performance that provides backcountry livability: With a trail weight of 1 pound, 14 ounces, this tent isn't going to weigh you or your partner down! Wider sizing accommodates two 25" wide sleeping pads and offers extra space for gear or a furry friend. A hybrid single/double wall design uses integrated ventilation to reduce condensation, and the solution-dyed fabric doesn't stretch as much as traditional tent fabrics, making it ideal for the trekking pole pitch design. NOTE: Three trekking poles are required to pitch this tent (sold separately).
Reliable waterproof performance designed for seasons of use: Big Agnes' proprietary HyperBead waterproofing technology is used for the rainfly and tent floor. This innovative fabric is lighter, more waterproof, and more dimensionally stable than traditional fabrics, without intentionally added PFAS or other water repellent chemicals. Since there's nothing added to "wear off" over time, there's no need to re-waterproof your tent!
Protected vestibules add storage space: The tent's two vestibules add nine square feet of protected storage space on each side, as well as a way to enter or exit either of the tent's two doors while still staying dry in inclement weather. Double zippers on the rainfly doors let you create a vent from either the top or bottom for increased airflow depending on conditions.

The String Ridge VST 2.5 has a trail weight of 1 pound, 14 ounces and packs down to 14.75" x 4.75" in its included stuff sack. To extend the life of your tent and protect the floor from sharp rocks and roots, Big Agnes recommends using the String Ridge VST 2.5 Footprint (sold separately).
