With a spacious interior, dual doors/vestibules with integrated privacy panels, and an array of other features, the Big Agnes Tensleep Station 6 is a deluxe option for 3-season family camping or base camp usage.

Stretching a full 122" in length, the interior of the tent is 115" at its widest point. With 90 square feet of interior space, the tent provides ample room for up to 6 campers. An overhead peak height of 75" offers excellent livability. Oversized cargo pockets, media pockets, and four additional mesh pockets provide numerous places to stash gear and clothes while integrated gear loft loops offer a connection point for the Big Agnes Large Trapezoid Gear Loft or the Big Agnes Entertainment Loft (both sold separately). A rear vestibule provides dry entry and 10 square feet of weather-protected external storage space, but it is the large (38.5 square feet) front vestibule that really makes the tent stand out from other camping tents. This vestibule has two mesh windows that can be left open to maximize ventilation or closed to increase privacy. The large front door has an awning style entry that can be staked open for extra shade.

The body of the tent is constructed of durable polyester and strategic mesh panels on the walls and ceiling promote air circulation to fight condensation build-up. Coated with waterproof polyurethane, the polyester floor and rainfly are extremely durable. All of the tent's seams are taped-sealed to further protect the tent from the elements. Four sturdy aluminum press-fit poles lend freestanding structure. Color-coded pole ends, grommet webbing, and buckles make it easy to attach the poles to the clips and sleeves of the tent body. Sturdy aluminum hook stakes are included to further secure the pitch.

The Big Agnes Tensleep Station 6 Footprint (sold separately) can be used to further protect the tent floor from mud, ground water and sharp objects like rocks, exposed roots and pine needles.

  • Two large doors and vestibules
  • Oversized front vestibule is big enough for extra gear or camp chairs
  • Two mesh windows in front vestibule for ventilation that can also be closed for weather protection
  • Front vestibule with awning style door that can be staked out as a shade
  • Fly walls can be rolled up to expose mesh walls for increased ventilation and visibility
  • Color coded webbing and buckles make set up easy
  • Storm flaps on the vestibule add extra fortification from the elements
  • One fly vent
  • Velcro tabs connect fly to pole structure providing perfect pitch and extra stability
  • Pre-cut guy lines and tensioners attached to fly
  • Reflective guy lines and reflective webbing

The best Tent I've ever used.

It rained on the first night of camping with this tent. However, I could a lot of things in the huge vestibule. And there was a mud skirt under the front vestibule. it protected the floor from outside rain.

no mud skirt under back side vestibule but this is not a big deal.

Everything expected and more

Easy to assemble, roomy, light weight but durable.

Prefer a floor in the vestibules as well.

better than i expected

I couldn't wait to camp so I set it up in my living room. It was easy by myself although I had to move some furniture. The headroom is great. I can't wait to take it out on an adventure. A great purchase.

it could have used a few more stakes.

awesome fun tent

The first time we used this tent we had all sorts of weather except snow. The first night was hot and humid... we had enough ventilation so we never felt uncomfortable. Then the temperature dipped 20 degrees and it rained rained rained. No water in the tent, I didn't see condensation either. What makes this tent so fun is how many ways the fly can be arranged. It's just super fun to tinker with.

Not so much a dislike, but it seems the floor is not as rugged as our former tents, so definitely get the footprint. Even with the footprint, though, it's lighter than what we're used to.

Best Tent

Love how easy it is to setup tent. One person can set tent up quickly! Tent does very well in wind. Had wind storm 25+Mph and tent held up all day long with all guy lines out and staked. The tent next to ours was flattened to the ground. Lots of room in tent and the vestibule is great for coolers and gear.

Rear vestibule is a little small

Excellent tent

The tent comes in the best carry bag I have ever had for a tent. There are three compartments one for the poles one for the tent and one for the fly. Tent was easy to setup with one person. I really like how you can keep the fly on the tent and then roll up the sides to vent and see out. There was a wind storm for one day while camping and the guys next to us had a pancake for a tent and ours held up no problem with all the guy lines out.

Nothing to mention.
