The sleek and compact Black Diamond Cosmo 350 headlamp utilizes LED technology to provide 350 Lumens of illumination at a great price. Watertight construction maximizes all-condition performance, and the headlamp can be powered by the included alkaline batteries or a rechargeable battery (sold separately) depending on just how off the grid you'll be when camping or backpacking.

The headlamp's highest setting casts a bright beam over 196 feet. Burn time varies between 4.25 and 200 hours depending on the settings you utilize. The headlamp's lighting options let you choose between full strength in proximity and distance modes, dimming in either mode, strobe and a red night vision setting. When in the night vision setting, you can dim the light or set it to strobe. The Brightness Memory feature recalls the last used brightness level, meaning that you can turn the headlamp on and off without having to re-adjust from maximum output. A digital lock function allows you to prevent the light from accidentally turning on when stowed inside your pack.

The headlamp is powered by three AAA alkaline batteries (included). But with Black Diamond's Dual-Fuel technology, you can also use the rechargeable BD 1500 Li-on battery and charger (both sold separately) for maximum flexibility depending on how connected you plan to be during your outdoor adventures. An integrated battery meter makes it easy to track battery life and adjust as needed throughout your night. An elastic headband adjusts to enhance comfort and ensure that the headlamp remains securely in place while in use. The hinged housing lets you angle the beam as needed for the situation. The housing has an IPX 8 waterproof rating that ensures performance even in wet conditions.
