Black Diamond Distance 8 Running Vest Pack

The Black Diamond Distance 8 is a lightweight, durable vest pack that blurs the lines between running and climbing pack. Its durable fabrication, performance fit, and streamlined everything-in-reach feature set makes it ideal for mountain adventures that require moving horizontally and vertically!

Dynex ripstop fabric, a combination of 100D nylon and 200d PE, is extremely abrasion-resistant despite being amazingly lightweight. A close-fitting harness adds lightweight support and the backpanel utilizes BD.dry vapor material to help keep moisture build-up to a minimum. The pack comes in varied sizes (based on the circumference of your torso; see specs for details) based on the circumference of your torso around the lower ribs to ensure a close but comfortable fit. Dual, height-adjustable sternum straps let you further customize fit.

Storage is intentionally streamlined to keep weight to a minimum, but the pack does provide 488 cubic inches (8 liters) of total storage. A water-resistant main rear compartment has a climbing-style opening that provides quick access and closure. Integrated side compression lets you cinch down that rear compartment to keep contents secure and pull the pack closer to your back. The front harness has an abundance of convenient stretch and zippered pockets and can easily accommodate flasks or water bottles (not included).

Other features include integrated sleeves for carrying foldable Black Diamond Z-Poles (sold separately), an interior zippered pocket, a stretch mesh divider in the interior of the rear compartment, and an ice tool attachment system.
