Black Diamond Icon 700 Headlamp

Offering powerful illumination for varied backcountry pursuits, the Black Diamond Icon 700 headlamp casts a powerful beam of light over 450 feet at its max output of 700 lumens. With proximity and distance modes, multi-olored LED settings for night vision preservation, and an IP67 waterproof rating, this light performs reliably in the most extreme conditions.

Multiple settings allow you to cycle between distance and proximity modes, as well as regulate the strength of the Icon 700's beam depending on what distance you need illuminated. By adjusting the strength of the beam, you can maximize efficiency, increasing burn time to a maximum of 175 hours. Red, green and blue LEDs cover the spectrum of night vision needs. The light can be set to strobe for visibility or to save battery life, or set to an SOS mode for emergency signaling. A built-in brightness memory mode remembers the light output last utilized and returns to that setting when you turn the Icon 700 back on, and you can instantly make brightness adjustments with the tap of a finger. The light has a lock out feature to ensure it won't turn on when stowed.

The Icon 700 is powered by four AA Alkaline batteries (included), and the removable battery pack can be stowed to preserve battery life with a cord long enough to reach warm pockets for "polar mode," in cold temps. The Icon 700 can be made rechargeable with the Icon Rechargeable Battery Pack (sold separately). A six-setting, 3 LED battery meter ensures you won't be left in the dark.

An elastic headband adjusts to enhance comfort and ensure that the Icon remains securely in place while in use. A top strap is included for greater stability, along with a waist strap for additional mounting capabilities. The housing of the Icon is hinged so you can angle the beam as needed for the conditions and the task at hand.

The Black Diamond Icon headlamp is waterproof down to 1 meter (3.3 ft) and is suitable for all-weather use.
