The sock utilizes high-density knitting which offers lightweight low-profile cushioning along the base of the foot and above the ankle. Its micro crew height is shorter than a traditional crew but still offers protection just above the cuff of a standard hiking boot. The Merino wool offers breathability and natural odor-resistance while a blend of nylon and spandex enhance comfort and long-term durability.
