The Deuter Aircontact Core 65 +10 pack has the versatility and capacity for gear-heavy adventures and extended backpacking. A trail-tested and adaptable suspension system forms the foundation for all-day comfort.
Breathable and extremely porous Air Spacer Mesh and an ergonomic lumbar pad on the suspension grants the pack padded comfort and ventilation while the Y-frame construction creates direct load transfer for stability and control when hauling heavy loads. Deuter's VariSlide system adjusts to fit torso length ranging from 16.5"-24.4," making it easy to adjust the pack for an ideal fit. Adjustability in the padded shoulder straps and pivoting VariFlex hip belt aids in both comfort and fit. A sternum strap on the harness provides final fit adjustments.
The main packbag has multiple access points for easy organization. The top-loading spindrift collar has compression straps to cinch down the load and can be expanded to offer an additional ten liters of storage. A separate lower compartment for a sleeping bag or other gear has a removeable divider in case you need open access to the full length of the packbag. In the middle, a J-shaped front zipper lets you access the rest of the contents. A floating lid has a large, zippered pocket with a key clip.
On the outside, there are three stretch mesh pockets on the sides and front, as well as loops and adjustable bungees for attaching trekking poles and other gear. Multiple compression straps help stabilize the load and can also be used to secure a tent or sleeping pad to the outside of the pack. Other special features include an SOS instructions label, zippered hipbelt pockets, and a stow system for sunglasses on the front harness. A sleeve in the main compartment and built-in tube exit points make the pack compatible with a hydration system (sold separately).
