Drawing on true alpine experience, the Deuter Freerider Pro 28 SL Women’s ski/snow pack offers varied carry options and organizational solutions for winter sports. With 1709 cubic inches of storage space and stand-out features, the sleek pack is ready for cold-weather adventure.

Catering to female adventurers, the pack incorporates ergonomic design features. The hipbelt has been given a more conical shape to provide a proper anatomical fit and the shoulder straps have been set closer together, are narrower and shorter in length, and have smaller buckles and narrower tapered strap ends to prevent chafing under the arms and eliminate pressure points in the chest area.

The pack utilizes Deuter's Alpine Back System. Two vertical padded foam strips offer stability and comfort while providing a "chimney" at the spinal column for ventilation. The suspension comfortably accommodates torso sizes ranging from 15"-20" in length. A pivoting Vari-Flex hipbelt mirrors your movements, keeping the pack out of your way while you concentrate on skiing, snowboarding or snowshoeing. Anatomically contoured shoulder straps enhance flexibility, comfort and precision fit. Ventilated pads in the back, shoulder straps and hipbelt help to keep you cool and comfortable on your adventures. Load-lifter straps and a sternum strap work in tandem with the shoulder and lumbar padding to effectively distribute weight throughout the pack, further ensuring stability and comfort.

A panel-loading packbag provides the pack with 1709 cubic inches of storage capacity. The access point is strategically positioned to allow entry to the packbag without the need to un-lash gear. In fact, you can place the pack face down on the ground and access the pack from behind so that the suspension system doesn’t pick up snow or moisture that would otherwise be transferred to your back when you put the pack back on. A fleece-lined goggle pocket and an integrated hipbelt pocket provide further storage options.

Other features found on the Freerider Pro 28 SL Women’s pack include a shovel head pocket, an internal probe/handle sleeve and a removable helmet sling. An internal pocket and built-in tube exit point make the pack hydration compatible (hydration system not included).
