This lightweight carrier weighs just under six pounds unloaded, yet the aluminum frame provides strong support when you take your child on the trail. The carrier folds down for transport. A locking kickstand makes the carrier sturdy when standing on its own. Further, the frame has a broad bottom platform, making it unlikely to tip over. Dual grab handles are convenient for picking up the carrier.

The sensible seat and footrests adjust in height to accommodate a growing child. A practical safety harness with color-coded buckles offers maximum security, allowing for easy handling and adjustment. A side entry allows you to easily situate your child in the seat. Note: the carrier is suitable for children who can sit up by themselves. A large, stretchy and ventilated pocket sits under the child's seat. A large elastic pocket on the front provides more storage.

The carrier's VariQuick harness system accommodates the varying torso lengths (adjustable from 17.3"-22.8") of parents. The back system is carefully engineered to provide excellent ventilation and support without excess weight or bulk. Perforated shoulder straps keep you cool and comfortable on your child-hauling adventures. The hip belt has pull-forward technology to adjust easy as well as a zippered storage pocket. Load-lifter straps provide further stability and comfort.

Airy and soft materials line the child's seating area - padding the frame in the seating area - with stronger, washable fabrics near the feet. The seating area has a detachable, washable chin pad as well as side-mesh inserts which cool your child.
