Keeps stuff Dry

Likes

Thru-hiked A.T.with this rain cover. It worked well in some pretty good downpours, though after a while it stopped beading and started letting through a bit of moisture, nothing much though and as expected. Put it away wet sometimes and had a bit of mold growing on it but stayed mostly waterproof.

Dislikes

would prefer elastic versus drawstring adjustment

I bought it for my Deuter pack and low and behold, the first day of the trip it rained for hours. All was dry. The cover works like a charm.

Dislikes

With the cover cinched up, I can't get to my water bottles. A water reservoir is a must for long hikes.

Pretty heavy for what it is.
