A lightweight option for day hiking, climbing, or skiing, the top-loading Deuter Speed Lite 26 delivers form-fitting carrying comfort at a weight of just 1 pound, 13 ounces.
The combination of a flexible, tensioned Delrin U-frame and a honeycombed, padded backpanel creates a comfortable fit and offers excellent load stabilization. Broad mesh and strategic cutaways in the backpanel enhance ventilation for aerobic activity. An adjustable sternum strap and an adjustable, supportive hipbelt help to enhance both fit and comfort.
The main compartment of the pack is accessed from beneath a protective top lid. The lid also houses a zippered storage compartment and has gear attachment loops. Twin side stretch pockets accommodate water bottles or other gear. Compression straps enable you to cinch down on the packbag to keep contents secure and aid in load stabilization. They also double as a ski carrying system. A stretch front pocket, a small zippered pocket on the top of the pack, an internal valuables pocket, and zippered hipbelt pockets provide additional places to store and organize gear. A lined internal pocket and built-in tube exit point make the pack hydration system compatible (system sold separately).
