Deuter Trail 30 Day Pack

The Deuter Trail 30 pack offers the discerning alpinist some climber friendly features like carabiner attachment points, a helmet holder and a lid that makes it easy to look up-route. The pack has two access options to make loading and unloading easy, as well as organization options for internal and external storage.

The pack is supported by a lightweight but strong Delrin U-shaped frame which keeps the load close to your body to promote balance. To keep you dry, the Aircontact backpanel has open-pore cushions and a central channel to allow for air circulation. The flexible ActiveFit shoulder straps, along with adjustable load lifters and sternum strap let you further dial in the fit.

The pack offers over 1800 cubic inches (30 liters) of storage space, accessible through the top lid as well through a large, 2-zipper panel opening on the front. This arrangement makes for quick loading and enables you to easily reach gear in top or bottom of the pack. The low-profile lid is built with climbers in mind, allowing you to raise your head and look upwards.

Inside, a valuables pocket helps organize your smaller items. A hydration pocket holds up to a 3 liter reservoir (sold separately). Internal compression straps with external adjustment points snug the load down securely.

On the outside of the pack, there are loops to hold ice axes, trekking poles, and helmets. There is a stretch pocket on one side and a large zip pocket on the other side of the pack. A zippered pocket in the lid holds smaller items like sunglasses while a pocket on the hip belt serves as a safe place for phones or keys. Loops on the shoulder straps are made to accept carabiners.
