Comfortable addition

Likes

I really like the color. Easy to set-up and fairly light. The quilt kept my backside warm overnight on the NTP this weekend! Three days in the wilderness no problems.

Dislikes

Kinda bulky in the pack but you could use a compression sack to bring the size down.

3 season under quilt

Likes

Good 3 season under quilt, insulation is evenly spread and held in place. Nice color selection. Easy mounting options, good value for the money

Dislikes

Good 3 season under quilt, just wish it would have more insulation, unsure on products water resistances capabilities have tested it yet.

Better than expected

Likes

Affordable; fits a double nest just fine; I usually use a half-deflated sleeping pad and I was very pleased at the comfort of this underquilt. :-). I'd never spring for a down underquilt, and this is fine for late spring/summer use. I like that is water resistant, but I haven't tested that situation yet. I like that it fits the hammock with very little fiddling and fidgeting - I can't say that about a variety if tarps.

Dislikes

This packs pretty large...and going to take up a lot of pack space, but any underquilt is going to be nearly as big as a sleeping bag, and synthetic fill will be 1.5X the size of down. Given the size, I would have preferred a tad more fill... I may still need to add a pad anyway when it gets below 55-60F. Color choice was very limited... I went with the green... not bad, but kind of bright key lime. There are different versions of this underquilt over time so beware the latest version does not come with a hang storage bag... but I just hang it up in the closet with my sleeping nags and that't just fine if not better.

For the price, it's great

Likes

Cheap, packs down small, keeps you warm during summer nights, this + sleeping bag will keep you comfortable when the lows are 40-45 .... Any colder you will need to invest in thermals

Dislikes

Hard to impossible to lay diagonally without having your legs exposed to the elements.
