With is synthetic insulation and water-resistant shell fabric the Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) Ember 2 Underquilt is a lightweight, convenient solution for cool weather hammock camping and backpacking.

Description

If you love sleeping in your Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO) hammock (sold separately) but wish there was a way to keep your backside warm on cool nights look no further! The ENO Ember 2 Underquilt is a convenient solution to cool weather hammock camping and backpacking.

Insulated with a layer of poly synthetic insulation and sporting a nylon taffeta ripstop shell with a DWR finish the Ember 2 Underquilt fastens to the outside of your hammock and conforms to the shape of the hammock without compressing beneath your weight. This design allows to insulation to better trap your body heat to keep you warm.

The Ember 2 Underquilt attaches to the end points of your hammock with a corded hitch that is easy to use. A universal fit ensures that the quilt is compatible with all Eagles Nest Outfitters hammocks.

Weighing 25 ounces the ENO Ember 2 Underquilt is available in your choice of colors and includes a stuff sack.

Needed for cooler nights

Cozy underquilt

A great addition to my cold weather camping gear. I used this when the temps dropped down to the 30s in the Smokies. I slept fine in my hammock thanks to this gear.

It finally works...using a hammock

So this maybe the biggest gain in new camping toys I purchased this year. We love taking our Eno hammocks to Yosemite, but always get cold at night. Not anything more. These new inventions nail the issue. No more cold bum bum. And an added bonus, the under quilt allows you to store stuff that you need during the night or first thing in the morning.

Typical ENO quality, durability, function, & affordability; bought this for my 7 year old daughter that loves hammock backpacking, but not when it gets too cold, so this temp rating is perfect & she stayed warm all night

I bought this underquilt to use when it is too warm to use the blaze and igniter Eno insulation package. The install is so easy as well as packing. Another quality product from ENO.
