Modifying the celebrated cradling-comfort design of the MegaMat camping mattress to reduce weight and packed size, the Exped MegaMat Ultra inflatable sleeping pad lets backpackers experience maximum warmth (R-value of 5.2) and comfort too!

Description

Cut-above backpacking comfort: The pad’s vertical sidewalls allow the top to extend edge-to-edge without tapering to maximize your sleep surface. Synthetic insulation is welded to the interior of the top and bottom of the pad to deliver year-round worth backpacking warmth. Soft, recycled stretch polyester face fabric is softer and quieter than what you’ll find on most backpacking pads.
Designed for easy inflation and deflation with packability: Low-profile FlatValves allow for more efficient inflation and deflation than fiddly traditional twist valves. The pad does require full air inflation, but an included pump sack saves you from having to blow it up by mouth which also keeps potentially damaging moisture from entering the pad. For faster inflation, you can use the electric Exped Ultra Pump (sold separately). Once full inflation has occurred, you can easily let out a little air to fine-tune firmness.
Sustainable construction: The MegaMat uses recycled bluesign-approved materials to meet rigorous environmental and consumer protection standards. No non-degradable PFAs are used in production.

Sizing, inflation, and storage

The MegaMat is available in two sizes: Medium/Wide (72" x 25.6") and Long/XWide (77.6” x 30.3"). An included stuff sack also serves as a pump sack.
