Exped Thunder 50 Internal Frame Backpack

An excellent balance of lightweight construction organizational features and carrying capability the Exped Thunder 50 backpack is a versatile backcountry performer. Despite weighing less than 3.5 pounds the pack hauls heavy loads comfortably.

The pack features Exped’s unique T-Rex frame system for load control weight distribution and fit adjustment. Padded shoulder straps and a padded adjustable hipbelt aid in stability and load transfer. An adjustable sternum strap and integrated load-lifter straps allow further fine-tuning of the pack’s fit.

The lid of the Thunder 50 offers top access to the large main compartment and its 3051 cubic inches of storage capacity. A zippered pass-through adds panel loading access to let you quickly put hands on gear. There is zippered storage in the lid a large front stretch mesh pocket dual side stretch mesh pockets and zippered hipbelt pockets. Dual daisy chains allow you to clip gear to the exterior of the pack.
